Best Places to Start a Business

Are you looking to start up your own business? Are there loads of great ideas whirling around your head ready to be put out into the world? If so you may be currently in the wrong country to get your new ideas going.

The World Bank has complied a report on 190 countries to show the best and worst places to be an entrepreneur, measuring regulations affecting 10 areas of business. These include access to electricity, construction permits, taxes and trading across borders.


The Top 10 Countries were:

  1. New Zealand
  2. Canada
  3. Hong Kong
  4. Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia
  5. Azerbaijan
  6. Singapore
  7. Australia
  8. Georgia
  9. Armenia
  10. Ireland

Starting a business is never easy and rarely stress free, so if you’re wanting to make things a bit easier for yourself, perhaps moving overseas may be an option!
